What's New With HPNG?

The HPNG Holiday Party was...cold. Fun, but cold. Thank you all who sailed the Hudson with us and toasted the Holidays as we passed by Lady Liberty.

There are new videos to watch, featuring Jean-Paul Renard (who's the best!) and photos from HPNG's October networking event featuring "La Sanchez."

Whisper announcement...The 2nd Annual HPNG Latino Leadership Conference is underway for May 24, 2010. While I'm still crafting an agenda unlike anything the world has ever seen, we've opened up registration to get a discount for early registrants. Make 2010 the year YOU become a leader.

Un Evento Espectacular!

Thank you all for making last night's HPNG event one of the best ever. Leslie Sanchez rocked the house!

We talked about Republican stuff, CNN's Latino In America, Leslie's new book, the growing influence of Latinas in positions of leadership and we had many laughs along the way.

While HPNG is "off" until January 2009, we will still be partnering with other organizations and alerting you when new photos, videos, events and other content of interest have been posted on the website. And of course, I'll be running around the city attending everyone else's events, with Orley and Sergey in tow.

Seen at the scene and causing a commotion were: Adele Farina, Orley Pacheco, Alfredo Huereca, Pinny and Tato, Robert Buchelli, The Vamps, Nancy Mendez, Juan Marqus Aycart, Paula Antonopoulos-Wolfe, Claudia Ossa, Maria Pia Carpenter, Eric DiMonte, Alex Padilla, Robert Sanchez, Guillermo Kopp, Robert Vidal II, Marisol Medina, Maria Nieto, Vicky Ayala, Maria Cristina Rios, Will Rodriguez, Derrick Rome, Chantel Figueroa, and many, many others.

HUGE shout out to the boys at Elmo @ The Lounge, who put up with my shenanigans and tantrums, I love you guys! David Hood, Mexican David, Brucie, Freddie the Frenchman, Peter, Julie and Adam.

Networking everywhere

Thank you very much to all who made it out last night to HPNG's networking event. I think Alfredo summed up the event the best:

Dear Ali,
I would like to thank you for inviting me to the HPNG networking event this evening. It was truly exciting and productive being surrounded by a group of Hispanic entrepreneurs and professionals. You were able to create a relaxing atmosphere where people felt welcomed and part of it.
